I think we all know we should be doing discipleship and doing it better which is why this training was so helpful.

It gave a very clear 7 step process that I can apply to my personal discipleship journey and the discipleship I do with guys in my ministry but even with the other discipleship elements that I lead at the church including small groups and classes And even our men's ministry.

Greg and Jason did a great job presenting the material. They’re both very knowledgeable and have great insight into the topic and then they do it in such a fun and engaging way. The time flew by. I wish all my guys were with me.

I would encourage any Christian man to attend one of the sessions as it definitely makes you examine yourself and your methods or difficulties in approaching discipling or helping another person to find their walk with the Lord.

The material provided by Darin Poe was great and challenging. The presentation by Greg and Jason was done in a manner that kept your attention and made you ask yourself questions.

Biggest Takeaway:

I do not need to wait until I am ready/qualified to start discipling someone.

How has it impacted you:

The following Monday, after Bootcamp, we started a Men's Group with what we learned.

This was an extremely valuable event. It takes away the fear and the mystery of the disciple process. It personalizes the discipleship process so that ordinary Christians can help fulfill the great commission.

Well worth the time and it ended way too soon.

I think the boot camp was great because it gets down to what we're really supposed to be doing as believers. Bring it! This stuff is desperately needed.

This will be beneficial and practical and you will be inspired to get out there and make disciples.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the tactical approach offered in the training.

It's hard to identify just one tactic; however, the "Coffee" followup for new Christians will be an action step our church will implement quickly.

What changes would you make: Not really sure since I am still fairly new to the AG faith. I would say that for my first men's ministry event other than the men's retreat, I found the information presented to be very informative and easy to understand.

There is a biblical model we can apply to today of discipleship. I left the boot camp with a specific person in mind to start disciplining.

We are now scheduled to meet weekly to do a 30 Minuit Bible study and prayer time using the method demonstrated at the boot camp. Our goal is to meet for one year and reassess from there.
