Shooting Sports Program

The SoMO Royal Rangers Shooting Sports program is an affiliate Royal Rangers program that provides outpost leaders with training and resources to enable them to safely lead thier boys while participating in various shooting activities.

Instructor certification courses are available for multiple types of firearms as well as archery. Contact us for information on upcoming classes.

National Rifle Association (NRA) grants are available to provide equipment for your outpost shooting sports program, such as BB guns, air rifles, shotguns, black powder rifle, targets, safety eqipment. Grants are available to fund archery equipment as well. Visit NRAfoundation.org for details.

Note that per national guidelines, all firearms shooting activities conducted as part of any Royal Rangers activity must be done under the supervision of an NRA certified Range Safety Officer or equivalent.
